Here are some of the questions that we often receive from our clients:

COVID- 19 UPDATE:

The State of Virginia does not require licensure for applying makeup as a service with a fee for professional or freelance makeup artists. However, TMB Makeup Artistry, LLC does follow the Disinfection Reminders for Shops, Salons + Spas, where applicable, as recommended by the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. TMB Makeup Artistry is a traveling makeup service; therefore, due to COVID-19, to further protect both the client and artist, the client must ensure that the makeup application area and frequently touched surfaces are cleaned prior to the arrival of the artist. In addition, TMB Makeup Artistry will also use EPA recommended disinfectants both before and after makeup application.

What brand of makeup do you use?

TMB Makeup prides itself on the use of professional quality makeup brands not readily available to the average consumer as well as high-end makeup brands known and used by the avid makeup enthusiast! A wide variety of high end makeup, skin care products to some reputable drugstore brands are also included. Some skin care brands include Mario Badescu, Embryolisse, Arbonne, MAC Cosmetics, Skindinavia, and Danessa Myricks. Some makeup brands include, Graftobian, RCMA, Eve Pearl, MAC Cosmetics, NARS, Black Opal Cosmetics, OCC Cosmetics, L'Oreal, Ben Nye, Kett Cosmetics, Anastasia of Beverly Hills, and many more! Products are updated constantly!

Do you use airbrush makeup?

TMB applies foundation by hand. We use a three diﬀerent foundation types to cover the range of skin needs. The primary foundation used is an use a high definition cream foundation that is easy to manipulate for diﬀerent coverage needs. Professional tools such as brushes and blending sponges along with great technique gives the foundation an "airbrush finish!

Where do you perform your makeup services?

The luxury of hiring TMB Makeup Artistry is so we can come to you! TMB travels to the client and performs the services at the home or another location of the client's choice. However, if the client wish to come the artist, TMB does have a location in Hampton, VA to provide services. The address is disclosed when the deposit and service agreement obligations have been fulfilled for booking.

What does a makeup service include?

Before the application of any makeup, the face must be prepared, which includes a mini facial, moisturizing of the skin and makeup primer. Foundation coverage depends on the evenness of the skin tone as assessed by the MUA and client's preference. Eyeshadow, strip eyelash application, grooming of eyebrows and lip color application are specifically chosen to accentuate your God given beauty! All clients receive a touch up kit that includes, blending sponge, tissue, lip color for two applications and lip applicator.
